Robert & Marilyn's Southern Vacation

Some people take vacations to other countries and/or continents but we're just happy to go to a different city or to the neighboring state (especially if grandchildren live there). Last week we went south to Draper, St. George, and Las Vegas. The weather was absolutely perfect and we had a wonderful time! I hope you enjoy a few of our pictures.

We stopped in Draper to see Christine, Spencer, and Ada. We had lunch with them and visited at their home for a few minutes. I thought you might enjoy seeing how much Ada has grown. She is an adorable baby!

We stayed in St. George Thursday night so Robert could attend Bar meetings/golf tournament. Then we drove to Vegas and stayed with John's family Friday night.
Saturday morning, the men went golfing and I played with the kids, then in the afternoon we all got together for lunch then played at the "Butterfly Park".

I've discovered that Las Vegas has great parks--lots of fun climbing things and slides.

It was a windy day--almost too windy for flying kites, but Justin had fun flying his without the string on it.

If you want to know the details about this picture of John, you can to ask him. Let's just say I was grateful that we didn't end up in the emergency room after his crazy idea. (Notice that he is the only adult in the picture.)

We stayed with David's family on Saturday. Emily and Justin have formed a band and performed for us (piano & drums).

We went to Church Sunday morning then left for home. TIP FOR TRAVELING TO VEGAS: Don't go on the same weekend as a big NASCAR event.

I need copies of pictures! You took some really good ones. We did have a fun time, even though we were all sleep deprived!
